- 4 cups einkorn all-purpose flour
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Mix yeast and sugar in a bowl, then add warm milk and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In a stand mixer, combine half the flour and salt, add yeast mixture, and mix. Gradually add remaining flour until dough pulls from sides.
- Cover dough and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Turn out dough, knead lightly, and divide into 15 pieces, shaping them into balls.
- Arrange balls in a greased dish, cover, and let rise for 30-40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brush rolls with egg wash, then bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Brush with melted butter after baking and serve warm.
