Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat softened butter and dark brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then mix with wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in oats, cherries, chocolate, and pecans until well combined.
  • Scoop dough into balls and place on prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-13 minutes until edges are set.
  • Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top while warm and cool on a rack.
