- 1 cup beef broth

- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine (optional)

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 1/2 – 3/4 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons corn starch (optional, see notes below)
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine.
- Season with garlic, sea salt, cracked pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder.
- Set the slow cooker to low for 7-9 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef and mix in the juices.
