- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup apple cider
- ¾ cup lemon-lime soda, or rum
- Vanilla ice cream, optional, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish.
- Slice apples into wedges and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Wrap apple slices in crescent rolls and arrange in the baking dish.
- Combine butter, cinnamon, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and apple cider in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Pour the sauce over the dumplings and add lemon-lime soda around the edges.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
