- 1–2 large chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 24 ounces fresh tortellini
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1½ cups grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Cook until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, black pepper, and garlic salt. Simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add tortellini and cook according to package directions.
- Return chicken to skillet and mix well.
- Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
