- 4 oz fresh grapefruit juice (about ½ a large grapefruit)
- 3 oz tequila blanco (such as Casamigos)
- 2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 ½ oz Cointreau
- ½ oz agave nectar (start with ½ oz, adding more if needed)
- Kosher salt and granulated sugar (for the rim of the glass)
Instructions
- Chill the cocktail glass for 10 minutes or fill it with ice water.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, and agave nectar.
- Shake vigorously for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Prepare the glass rim with lime wedge and dip it in a salt and sugar mixture.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with grapefruit and lime wedges.
