Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat together softened butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Dissolve baking soda in hot water and mix into the butter mixture along with salt.
- Gradually stir in flour and cream of tartar until blended.
- Fold in rainbow sprinkles and Mini M&Ms.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared cookie sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
