- 2 Sheets puff pastry
- 1 Cup strawberry jam
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon milk
- ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ Cup sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
- Cut Christmas tree shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place cut shapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- On half of the shapes, add 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam.
- Cover with remaining pastry shapes and seal edges.
- Brush tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix icing ingredients and spread over cooled pop tarts.
- Add sprinkles before serving.
