- Microwave mixture for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave again for 30 seconds.
- Cool slightly, then stir in extract and salt.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Gradually stir in flour, then fold in chocolate syrup.
- Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 30-45 minutes.
- Let cool completely before decorating.
