Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, half-and-half, vanilla, and almond extracts; blend well.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Divide dough, wrap in plastic, chill for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), roll out dough, and cut into shapes.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden; cool completely.
- Mix icing ingredients and add color if desired; ice cookies creatively.
