  • 24 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
  • 1/3 cup sugar for rolling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  • Whisk together salt, cocoa powder, flour, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients; mix until combined.
  • Scoop and roll dough into 24 balls, rolling in sugar.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes until edges are browned and tops crack.
  • Press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
