- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 24 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
- 1/3 cup sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Whisk together salt, cocoa powder, flour, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients; mix until combined.
- Scoop and roll dough into 24 balls, rolling in sugar.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes until edges are browned and tops crack.
- Press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
