Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), cornstarch, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add broccoli florets and stir fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender.
  4. Toss in the rinsed chickpeas, stirring continuously for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Drizzle the prepared garlic sauce over the stir fry. Stir well to coat all ingredients evenly.
  7. Let the stir fry cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  8. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  9. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
