  • 23 large onions

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 10 minutes.
  • Remove bacon and reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat. Cool and crumble the bacon.
  • Caramelize the onions with thyme and rosemary in the reserved bacon fat for 35-45 minutes.
  • Stir in brown sugar, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the onions for additional flavor.
  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a bowl until smooth, then fold in the cheese and onion mixture.
  • Spread in a greased baking dish, top with cheddar and crumbled bacon, and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
