Instructions

  • Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Incorporate cold Crisco or butter until coarse.
  • Add cold water, mix gently, and chill dough for 30-60 minutes.
  • Roll out dough, line a pie plate with one crust, and cut other into strips for lattice top.
  • Prepare filling by mixing blackberries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, zest, and vanilla.
