- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 1/2 tbsp horseradish
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add red ale and Worcestershire sauce, mix until smooth, and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Slice onion into thick rings and pat them dry.
- Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F-365°F.
- Dip onion rings in the batter and fry until golden brown.
- Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Serve onion rings hot with the dipping sauce.
