Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place halved apples in a baking dish.
- Mix pecans, oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt in a bowl.
- Stuff the oatmeal filling into each apple half.
- Combine water, cornstarch, and lemon juice for the sauce, then pour over the apples.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until apples are tender.
