- 3 -lb carrots, peeled and sliced into ¼-inch slices
- 1 -lb bacon
- â…” cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
- Pour sliced carrots into an ungreased 9×13-inch pan.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until almost done but not too crispy. Remove from skillet, drain on a paper towel, and chop the bacon. Sprinkle the cooked bacon on top of the carrots.
- In a bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture over the carrot slices and bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
