  • 1 -lb bacon

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. Pour sliced carrots into an ungreased 9×13-inch pan.
  3. In a large skillet, cook bacon until almost done but not too crispy. Remove from skillet, drain on a paper towel, and chop the bacon. Sprinkle the cooked bacon on top of the carrots.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture over the carrot slices and bacon.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
