  • 2 tablespoons (24g) granulated sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (9g) instant dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (if not using salted butter)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) melted vegan butter
  • 1 medium-sized apple (~180g), finely chopped
  • ¼ cup (50g) packed brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup (120g) optional Nature's Charm Coconut Custard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or any liquid sweetener
  • ¾ cup (180g) Nature's Charm Coconut Custard for topping

Instructions

  • Combine flour, warm milk, coconut custard, vegan butter, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, and salt to form dough.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and stretchy.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size.
  • Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to prepare the filling.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly.
  • Add chopped apples and optional coconut custard, then roll tightly.
  • Cut the rolled dough into 12 pieces and arrange on a baking tray to rise again.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Brush with maple syrup and drizzle with additional coconut custard before serving.
