- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 3 tablespoons apple cider
- 2 large Honeycrisp apples (cored and sliced into ½-inch slices)
- Fresh thyme (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with spices.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat and sear pork chops for 4-6 minutes on each side.
- Remove pork chops and tent with foil to keep warm.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, then stir in brown sugar and apple cider.
- Add sliced apples and caramelize for about 5 minutes.
- Return pork chops to skillet and coat them in the sauce.
