- 8 slices of your favorite bread
- 8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded or thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
- Salt (optional, for seasoning)
- Pepper (optional, for seasoning)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer sharp cheddar cheese on one slice, season if desired.
- Top with another buttered slice, butter side out.
- Place sandwiches in air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the sandwiches, butter the new top side, and air fry for another 3-5 minutes.
- Cool slightly, slice diagonally, and serve.
