- 1 egg

- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Cup salted butter, softened
- 4 Cups powdered sugar
- ¼ Cup heavy cream
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ Teaspoon almond extract
- food coloring, forest green
- candy melts, white
- sprinkles, white crystal shimmer
Instructions
- Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla, almond extract, and egg; mix until well combined.
- Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Roll out dough and cut out star shapes, placing them on a lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for 8 to 12 minutes and cool completely.
- Beat softened butter with half of the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Gradually add remaining sugar, heavy cream, vanilla, almond extract, and salt until fluffy.
- Mix in green food coloring; transfer frosting to piping bag.
- Melt white candy coating and prepare star molds with it.
- Assemble cookies by stacking them with frosting and topping with candy stars.
